Where to find SSL certificate details
SSL certificates enable HTTPS for your domain. On NextShopper, certificate information is shown in the portal as Certificate details on the related hosting/SSL service—fields include Common name and status, plus any DCV DNS record instructions when the certificate authority needs domain control validation.
This guide helps you locate those details and know what to do next.

Before you start
- Sign in and open Hosting (or the service that includes SSL).
- Confirm the domain’s DNS already points correctly when validation requires it.
- Have access to the domain DNS zone for DCV if requested.
Step-by-step: open certificate details
- Go to Hosting and open the relevant service.
- Find the Certificate section.
- Note Common name (the domain the cert covers).
- Read status; if a DCV DNS record (if the CA asked for one) is shown, copy it for DNS publishing—see How to complete DCV DNS for an SSL certificate.
- After issuance, visit
https://your common name to confirm the padlock.
If SSL was a standalone cart item, it still attaches to the domain on the order—use invoices to confirm which domain was purchased, then open the matching service.
What happens next / how to verify success
- Browser shows a valid certificate for the common name.
- DCV instructions disappear after validation succeeds.
- HTTP to HTTPS redirects work once the host is configured.
