Complaints Policy
NextShopper is committed to fair, transparent handling of customer and consumer complaints about Orders, billing, provisioning, domains, hosting, email, SSL, privacy, refunds, and staff conduct.
This Policy implements expectations found in Bangladesh Digital Commerce Operational Guidelines: a visible complaint channel, record-keeping, a compliance contact, and timely responses.
1. How to file a complaint
Use any of the following:
- Email [email protected] with subject “Complaint”
- The contact form at /contact
- A client portal support ticket (when logged in)
Please include: Account email; invoice or order number; domain or Service name; a clear timeline of what happened; the outcome you want; and supporting evidence (payment receipts, screenshots, email headers).
2. Compliance officer
Email [email protected] with subject “Compliance Officer”. This contact coordinates with consumer-protection bodies and other agencies when required.
3. Acknowledgement and resolution timelines
| Step | Target timeline |
|---|---|
| Acknowledge complaint / substantive update | Within 72 hours |
| Notice if we cannot supply a paid Service | Within 48 hours of relevant order/payment trigger |
| Refund initiation when we cannot supply | Promptly after notice; complete to original method within applicable 10-day outer limit (Refund Policy) |
Complex matters (registrar disputes, bank traces, security investigations) may need more time. We will explain why and the next steps.
4. Our process
4.1 We log the complaint with a reference. 4.2 We investigate Orders, invoices, provisioning logs, and relevant communications. 4.3 We reply with findings and a remedy where appropriate (fix, re-provision, refund, goodwill credit, upstream escalation, or explanation of why a remedy is not available). 4.4 We retain complaint records as needed for compliance and dispute handling.
5. Escalation for Bangladesh consumers
If you remain dissatisfied after our internal process, you may escalate under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 to the Department of National Consumer Rights Protection and/or use government e-commerce complaint mechanisms such as the Central Complaint Management System (CCMS) as published by authorities at the time (verify the current official URL).
6. Product reviews
Where review or rating features exist on our platforms: (a) staff and related parties must not post fake reviews; (b) genuine negative reviews will not be deleted merely for being negative; (c) we may remove unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or spam content.
7. Distinguishing abuse reports
Security and AUP abuse reports are handled under the Acceptable Use Policy and may involve accelerated suspension. Copyright notices follow the Copyright and Trademark Policy.
