Why hosting renewals matter
Hosting is billed on a cycle shown as Renews on the service page. Renewing on time keeps the panel account active so websites, related SSL, and often mailboxes tied to that service keep running. If renewal lapses, the service can show suspended for non-payment and sites go offline until you pay and staff confirm reactivation.
This guide shows how to use Renew this product, pay the invoice with Pay now, and confirm the new renew date—plus how hosting renew differs from domain renew.
Who this guide is for
- Customers approaching a hosting Renews date
- Anyone who received an unpaid renewal invoice in Notices
- Teams managing multiple services who need a repeatable process
- Users whose site suspended after a missed invoice
Before you start
- Sign in to the client portal.
- Open Hosting and identify the correct service by Primary domain and Product name.
- Prefer a payment method that matches your currency (BDT/USD)—see payment methods.
- If status is already suspended, plan to pay first, then ask staff to unsuspend if it does not clear automatically.
Step-by-step: renew a hosting product
- Open Hosting → select the service detail page.
- Note the current Renews date and any status message (queued / failed / suspended).
- Select Renew this product.
- Open Invoices, find the new unpaid invoice, and select Pay now.
- Complete card, PayPal, bKash, or bank transfer as offered.
- Return to Hosting and confirm Renews moved forward after payment settles.
- Refresh Home / Notices so unpaid renewal alerts clear.
Renew vs domain auto-renew
Hosting renewals are driven by service invoices. Domain Auto-renew is a separate control on each domain page—see How to renew a domain and manage auto-renew. If your site needs both the name and the plan, verify both dates.
What happens next / how to verify success
- Renewal invoice status is Paid.
- Service Renews date advances.
- Notices/Home no longer list that unpaid renewal (after refresh).
- If previously suspended for non-payment, status returns to active after settlement (bank transfer may need staff confirmation).
Common problems
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Renew button missing | Service may be pending staff action—open a Billing/Technical ticket |
| Payment succeeds but date unchanged | Wait for settlement; refresh; confirm invoice Paid |
| Wrong service renewed | Confirm Primary domain before paying |
| Currency mismatch | Switch BDT/USD in the header before checkout when possible |
| Still suspended after pay | Ticket with invoice number requesting unsuspend |
| Domain expired too | Renew the domain separately |
Frequently asked questions
Will renewing hosting renew my domain too?
Not automatically. Renew the domain separately if it expires on a different date.
What if the service is suspended for non-payment?
Pay open invoices first. If still suspended after payment, open a Billing ticket with the invoice number.
Does renew wipe my files?
A normal renew extends billing; it should not wipe content. Ask before any reprovision.
Is renew the same as fixing failed provisioning?
No. Failed needs a staff retry from the admin queue—see the provisioning status guide.
