How to update your profile
Your Account profile stores the identity used across the client portal—name, tax ID, language, and related fields. Keeping it accurate helps invoices show the right Bill to details and makes support faster when they verify you. Profile changes do not by themselves move domain registrant contacts; domains have a separate Contacts panel.
This guide walks the Profile section on Account and how to confirm saves.
Who this guide is for
- Customers who changed legal/business name or tax ID
- Users switching portal language (Language)
- Anyone whose invoices show an outdated name
Before you start

- Know that email changes may involve verification—follow prompts carefully.
- For domain WHOIS/registrant data, also plan contact updates.
Step-by-step: edit profile
- Open Account.
- Read the lead: update profile details, change password, and harden sign-in with two-factor.
- In Profile, edit name and Tax ID as needed.
- Set Language for portal UI preference.
- Select Save.
- Confirm Profile saved.
Review Recent sign-ins on the same page if you are auditing account activity.
What happens next / how to verify success
- Re-open Account and confirm field values.
- Place a small test understanding that new invoices should pick up bill-to identity from account data.
- Language switch reflects in portal chrome after save/navigation.
Common problems
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Save fails | Fix validation; required fields; retry |
| Language not changing | Refresh; check avatar language toggle too |
| Invoice still old name | Older invoices stay historical; check a new invoice |
| Want different domain contacts | Use domain Contacts, not only profile |
| Email unverified warning | Use Resend verification email |
